December Coffee Morning. Gifts to Charities
Thursday Coffee Mornings.
End of the old year and the beginning of a new year. During the December Coffee morning we totalled up all the donations and after a very close vote the money was equally divided between “Hospice at Home” and the Children’s Play Park in Cumwhitton; each good cause receiving £225. It is heart-warming to see so many coming together to enjoy a good chat and we hope that those who have not yet had the opportunity to come will do so during the coming year. We must have the best bakers in Cumbria and a big Thank You for all that they have provided to make the mornings that little extra special.
By the time you read this article we will have celebrated our first Coffee morning of the year on Thursday, 25th January. The next dates for your diary will be Thursday, 22 February and Thursday, 29th March. We shall look forward to seeing you at the Village Hall!
