What a successful Day! On Sunday, 5th July, Cumwhitton held its very own Garden Trail and Arts and Crafts exhibition. The weather was perfect and all the gardens looked their very best.

The Church allotment is a large plot behind St Mary’s Church, with a fresh water brook running alongside it.

St Mary’s Church. The day the clock froze
After a very heavy snow fall at the end of January,the landscape in the Parish looked beautiful. The children enjoyed a day off from school and the clock on the Church tower froze.

Morecambe Bay Sponsored Walk for St Mary’s Church.
On Saturday, 20th September fifty- two of us set off down the motorway to Morecambe Bay.

Welcoming our new Parish Priest Edward Johnsen
A priest now for 16 years, I have been Team Vicar for Hayton, Talkin and Farlam parishes for nearly 8 years, during which time our 3 children have grown to be 16, 15 and 10 years old.

St Mary’s Church. Partly C12, rebuilt early C19. Dressed and rubble red sandstone walls on chamfered plinth and with raised quoins; sandstone and with slate roof.
